Last month I visited one of our latest completed projects, on the outskirts of Bath.  It was a ‘BIG Build’, including a refurbishment and extension, which involved moving it from a 2-storey property, to a 3-storey one.

Well, I wasn’t disappointed.  The transformation is immense, and the design and interior space is utterly beautiful.

The owners, Tom and Ruth Broom, bought the property around 8 years ago, and it was always their intention to extend and refurbish. 

Tom said, “We were hoping for a light and spacious home, which has certainly been achieved.  The kitchen and living rooms are great for entertaining family and friends.  Also, we focussed on high levels of insulation and installing renewable technology which has delivered amazing results.” He went on to say, “Astra were recommended by friends. We had a few meetings with Simon Brooks and his team, and it became clear from the outset that they understood what we were trying to achieve, and had experience of completing similar projects.  They were professional and reliable from start to finish.  We’re delighted with the results.”
