My visit to one of our latest ‘BIG Build’ projects
Last week I visited one of our latest ‘big build’ projects, over in the beautiful Spa City of Bath. It was great to get a real feel for the progress that’s being made, and meet some of our on-site team once again – and I wasn’t disappointed.
The first thing to hit me was the sheer size of the project. This renovation is HUGE!
As I walked through to the area which will become the re-designed open plan kitchen, discussions were being made on increasing the size of the bespoke island. And yes, it can be made bigger! The space will be delightful when complete. A really great ‘hub’ of the house and the perfect space for entertaining friends and family.
Onwards and upwards. I made my way up to the newly installed extra storey. So. this will now include more bathrooms and bedrooms, complete with en-suites and dressing rooms. The roof is still yet to be completed, whilst the core internal plumbing and build is ongoing. So, the team were working away whilst I was taking in the progress and the sheer size of this refurbishment.
Again, what impacted me the most was the ceiling heights and the feeling of space. When finished, this is all going to look fantastic.
On my way out, I met with the property owner, who is absolutely delighted with the build so far, and of course looking forward to its completion – which is all on schedule for the end of the year.
I can’t wait to see it – watch this space for my next visit….!
